The Baby Shark: Longsword 2025 successfully started the series of the tournaments. It was fun, and we hope that the experience the participants gained here will help them in their future efforts!
We had 13 participants from 3 cities and 4 clubs.

Participants eligibility#
For the beginners category:
- No more than 2 years of HEMA experience
- No medals from any HEMA tournaments
- No medals from related sports (tap fight, buhurt, olympic fencing)
For women’s category:
- No experience or restrictions
Competition Rules#
This tournament followed Swordplay 2025 rules with some changes:
- No single-handed actions allowed
- More strict requirements for safety and excessive force control
